Because I am a psychologist, people contacting me may voluntarily disclose information concerning their physical or mental health or other particularly sensitive aspects of their personal life.

Where such information is provided in connection with a request for psychological services, it is processed only where necessary and in accordance with the legal and professional requirements applicable to psychological practice, including obligations of professional secrecy and confidentiality.
As a psychologist, I am bound by professional secrecy concerning information learned through the professional relationship. The Italian Code of Ethics also requires appropriate protection of notes, records and other documentation relating to that relationship.
